Firstly you are actually not out of proportion, you're body type is what is referred to as "apple" shaped, which is very common.

The areas you want to highlight and show off are your fabulous broad shoulders, as these help give your bottom proportion, small arms which is a blessing and your small slim legs, another great attribute!

On top, go for V-necks, these will flatter your bust and make your neck look longer. Sleeveless tops are also a great option, the Grecian look is huge right now, and look great one busty women.

On the bottom half - look for A line shapes, this will help flatten your tummy, and bottom, while showing off your fabulous legs, when it comes to pants and jeans, stick with darker colours, pinstripes and dark denims.
Stay away from skinny styles and opt for straight or wide leg cuts as it will help balance out your mid torso.

If you look for clothes with cut in these basic styles, you will be able to flaunt all your fabulous assets, and flatter your mid section.

Good Luck!

Hey Mama

I love your advice - you always have been the best person to go to for it so here is my prob - cause you know I have so many lol

What can I do to give myself a shape?

I'm way to tall and just straight up and down. No boobs, no butt, nothing much to look at.

My boyfriend is taking me out to dinner this weekend and it's a really big deal because it's to somewhere that doesn't have a drive through and I really want to look nice.

I would be happy to go in track pants, his sports jumper and thongs. I don't think It is part of the dress code.

then there are the shoes. if I have heels on I might be taller then him. Also me in heels wouldn't be good especially if I'm in a dress.

Much needed fashion advice.

Help Pray

Much love Mia x

Hey Mia,

You are a lucky gal, your body shape can be referred to as a "noodle" straight up and down...

Here are a few ways you can create some shape...

On top, things like cap sleeves, puff and pin tuck sleeves are all good options, they will create some shape and definition.

Layering is big at the moment, and with the colder weather take advantage of this trend which works great on a noodle.
Nudes and sheers are big for layering this season, start with a cami or slinglet, under a blouse or shirt, then team with a blazer or a trench.

Bottoms, go for a boot cut shape in pants and jeans, the slight flair at the bottom of the leg will give shape, the skinnier the leg, the slimmer your body type will look.

So for your date on Sat here is my advice...

A great pair of jeans, a cute blouse or top, with a blazer and for shoes, if you aren't comfortable in heels, opt a pair of kitten heels or ballet flats which is a trend that will continue through winter, and has major comfort factor, as well as being available in styles to suit every budget!

Have fun on the date!

Much Luv

Thanks Mama

Yeah everyone thinks I'm lucky for my shape if you can even call it a shape lol - I just wish I did I wish I could look like some of my friends.

I'm freaking out about this date. His making it so serious. I know it's our anniversary and his trying to make it special but I like the calm relax places that you can dress like a dag. It's so much effort being pretty. lol

I was going to borrow something from steph because she has got no boobs either and she's a real girlie girl as for pants I live in jeans. His wearing a suit and tie it's really over kill classy I think I'll be sick this weekend less pressure lol.

Thanks :)
Love Mia x

Help Mama! I've just started dating a new guy and want to wear some sexier stuff but am really wary of my body cos I'm quite large. I have stretch marks from my boobs over to my armpits which are quite hard to hide but I tried on a small cardigan with just arms and it just made me look fat.

Any advice on anything inbetween that I'm maybe not thinking of?

Thanks!

(And Mia, you'll look beautiful)

Kazzie you are not that bad stop putting yourself down.

Kazzie when you say sexier what are you meaning? You can be sexy in anything as long as your happy with yourself and how you look in an outfit!!!

You don't need to show clevage and butt crack to feel hot! Even if the world seems to make us feel that way!

I think a nice dress, with nice shawl or wrap and nice shoes would be fine.

I think Mama would be able to tell you something better though.

Thanks Moo.x

By sexier i guess i meant just something that might make me feel a bit more confident, you know, like what sort of thing is flattering.

A wrap is a good idea, thanks :)

Wow Mia, you might put me out of a job Applause

Kazzie, I have always been a big believer that less fabric or lower cuts,, doesn't always translate into sexy, sometimes a woman can look sexy in a tee and jeans, it comes down to attitude and confidence.

However I totally get that you have met this new guy and want to jazz up your look a little, so here are a few pointer that might help.

Look for crew or boat neck cut tops, these will show off your shoulders (a very sexy part of the female anatomy) while keeping the areas you are worried about covered.

Jumpers or tops that slouch off one shoulder are also a great style for someone such as your self, as you can wear them over a cami top or under a jacket.

Tie a soft silk scarf or satin sash around your neck, to create a different look.

Another style which will also work on you, is something like our Lolita Top, it shows off your shoulders and cleavage, while keeping your upper arms covered.

Lastly in the words of Vera Wang remember...

A woman is never sexier than when she is comfortable in her clothes.

Thanks Mama :-) I agree that less clothes doesn't mean sexier, it's just finding the right balance to be confident as you said!

Huney if only we all had your problems LOL

As a red head, there are a varied number of colours that will work for you besides green and black.

Cool colours look great on redheads

Charcoal
Grey
Baby Blue
Khaki
Turquoise
Lilac
Purple
Rich Berry Colours
Cream would also be a nice alternative to white

The key is experimenting with various shades of cooler colours till you find some you really like.

As for your bust, if you want to minimize the chest area, there a few key things you can do...

Get a good bra - being fitted for the right bra can make or break your look.
There are hundreds of bras out there, that do all sorts of things from minimizing to push up... wearing the right bra can make a huge difference to your breast health (support, fit etc) and your look.

Try long plunging V-neck and scoop neck tees with a cami underneath, it will help minimize the appearance of your bust.

Blazers and fitted coats now that winter is on the way are another great option.

Lastly - don't forget to get a GOOD, well fitted bra!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not as great as everyone thinks especially when your not even 16 yet. Guys only see you as the babe with the nice rack.

I keep dying my hair so I am like a blondie red now and I have those minimiser bras they do work but I can't help being self conscious about them.

Thanks for the tip...

Any ideas on how to get rid off freckles, cellulite and well everything I hate lol

Love Aria xoxo

Aria, don't get rid of your freckles, or your fabulous bust, all these things are what makes us who we are... this world would be pretty boring if we all looked the same.

Every woman feels the same way about their bodies, there are things we all want to change, trust me as you get older you will realise it is what's on the inside that counts.
